Peg loom workshop
Monday 27th 10-3pm
Peg looming is a fun and easy craft to master and with the use of some funky looking wools you can make a bag similar to ours. We will also teach you how to finger knit the strap.
We are making a memory rug on our large pegloom, using up all those old school uniforms and rugby shirts so this doesn't have to be an expensive hobby once you have the know how.

Jewellery making workshop
Wednesday 29th May 10am-12pm
A fun morning of jewellery making. Make decoupage beads and learn how to use pliers and cord to create you're own personalised bracelet. A great taster session to introduce you to the art of making your own jewellery.

Clay, pot throwing and modelling

We are very pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity to learn how to throw a pot. Leyla from The Ceramics Studio in Bermondsey will be coming to the studio for the day and hopes to introduce as many of you as possible to the thrill and enjoyment of throwing your own pot. Alongside Leyla Gemma will be teaching you how to make a pinch pot owl or bat. We will bisque fire your creations for you. The cost of this joint activity will be £20 per person but if you just want to throw a pot it is £16. Places for throwing pots are limited to the number of hours in the day so do book early to avoid disappointment.

This Summer holidays we will be open everyday from Monday 22nd July until Sunday 1st September 10am-5pm. Pop along to paint pottery or why not sign up to our Fun with Fabrics week, Clay play week, 3 day animation workshop, 2 day jewellery workshop, Fashion week or Young Artists week.
Summer t-shirts can be made every day - no need to book
Draw a design for your t-shirt on a piece of paper and colour it using our special inks then we will heat press it onto a brand new t-shirt for you. When it's printed it's completely machine washable and the colours are really vibrant...almost neon!
£14 for a child and £16 for an adult, this includes a new t-shirt.

Spend a whole week at the studio taking part in lots of fun workshops which involve everything to do with fabrics. There will be one or two projects a day with shorter activities in between, like our finger knitting competition!

Animation Workshop
Monday 12th August to Wednesday 14th August 10am-4pm
This three day workshop is a great opportunity to have a go at animation, master the basics and watch your characters come to life. Great for those with an active imagination!
Day One: Storyboard your character and write a script for what will happen to them in your mini movie. Start designing and building the set.
Day Two: Finish the painting and final touches to the set and start building your character and props with professional animation clay.
Day Three: Animate!! Capture every movement of your character on recording equipment and learn how to turn it into you're very own movie animation. There will be a showing (including popcorn) of all the movies at 3.30pm. Parents and friends welcome.
