Learn how to Peg loom

A very relaxing workshop where you have the opportunity to learn the art of weaving using a peg loom. Learn how to attach the warp and weave beautiful coloured wool. You can make a small woollen rug, water bottle cover, a wall hanging or anything your imagination will allow from your newly woven fabric.
The workshops costs £30 per person and includes all materials (if you have any interesting wool or fabrics that you would like to include please bring them along). Ladies Night Paint your own Jubilee Jug
Tuesday 29th May 7pm-9pm
Our popular ladies evenings involve much chat, lots of cake eating and amongst all that some fabulous pottery painting. Enjoy and evening out and come to the studio for some Jubilee jug painting. There are lots of 'British' and 'royal' themed ideas, stamps and tools to help you. Free tea and home made cakes all evening, but feel free to bring any nibbles or drinks.

Queen's Jubilee BIG LUNCH!!!

BIG LUNCH 2012. The first Sunday of June every year is the BIG LUNCH a community project aimed at getting neighbours and friends together to eat and be merry! (www.thebiglunch.com)

Decoupage Jubilee dish

Create a funky Jubilee souvenir by learning the art of decoupage. This workshop will teach you how to decoupage onto glass to create a trendy glass dish. Pottery 'Boot Camp'
Saturday and Sunday 16th and 17th June 2012 10-4pm
Pottery 'Boot Camp' will be an intensive two days of fun. We will be teaching you a number of new techniques and a few tricks. It is suitable for both beginners and for those wishing to enhance their knowledge of ceramics and glazes. There will be three projects on each day. Ideally you will come for the whole weekend and immerse yourself but days can be booked individually. The picture shows three of the projects we have planned for you.

Pop into the studio any time between 10am-1pm and we’ll help you capture your baby’s hand or footprint onto any piece of ceramic, a t- shirt, a jigsaw puzzle or mouse mat. Items cost from £6 upwards. These make ideal presents for family and those special friends. A lasting reminder of just how small they once were!

Decoupage Furniture Workshop

This workshop will give you the opportunity to 'pimp' that tatty old piece of furniture that you were thinking of skipping. Using a selection of papers and our decoupage glue/varnish you can completely change the look of that unloved item. The workshop costs £25 and includes your first 5 papers. Papers are then £1 each. We will offer you tea and coffee but please feel free to bring a packed lunch with you. We do have some old kitchen chairs which can be given the treatment if you don't have something of your own to renew.

Felt Bags and Berets Workshop
Saturday 10th November & Sunday 9th December 10am-4pm
This is a whole day workshop where you will learn the art of wet and dry felting. You can choose to make either a new beret or a bag out of beautiful dyed sheep wool. This is a workshop designed for those who have never done felting before and want to try give it a go. Turning wool into felt takes a lot of elbow grease but the results are always worth it.

Candle Decoration Workshop
Tuesday 4th December 2012 - two sessions on offer 10-12 am or 7-9 p.m.
This is a fun workshop where we will show you how to decorate candles using napkins. The workshop includes enough materials to make one medium sized candle and one smaller candle. Additional candles can be purchased or alternatively if you have some hidden away in a draw please feel free to bring them along for the treatment.
